Abstract

The pandemic which has recently swept the world has imposed
specific teaching methods that correspond with the precautionary
measures taken during the periods of the pandemic wide spread; and
although the e-education tools have vastly developed; there is still the
need for the traditional education methods to emphasize specific
learning requirements. Therefore; it is important to find an approach
that combines the advantages of both electronic and traditional
educations and overcomes their shortcomings; from here comes the
importance of the “blended learning” which has proven its efficiency
and is adopted by many international academic programs, in education
in general; and in the advertising design education in specific. The
concept of blended learning has emerged as a natural development for
e-learning; it is a style of education that combines the electronic
education with the traditional classroom education. This educational
style does not revoke either the traditional or the electronic
educations; it is a blend of both of them, in an attempt to benefit from
their advantages. In this regard, there is a study which indicates that
the blended learning students, who had the opportunity to
communicate and work face-to-face; and avail themselves of the
advantages of the distance e-learning at the same time; were more
capable of conducting effective discussions and relationships than
their peers who were only either e-educated; or classroom educated.
