Abstract

Color is of great importance, equal to the importance of the drawing itself, because the color inside the characters and backgrounds helps to show the whole idea, and it undoubtedly controls the general atmosphere completely, and every color or color scheme has its strength and weakness that must be controlled by the background artist who wants to transfer his theories to the screen. The colors of the elements must be consistent and in harmony with the colors of the accompanying background. The colors of the elements are dramatically translated into the events and situations that are going on inside the moving images, which is due to the artist in his ability to choose a group of colors that are homogeneous plastically and dramatically. The color has the possibility to achieve the success of the scene or not, and the color also has the ability to make the communication process successful because of its many meanings and connotations that support the desired idea of the design. Its elements Therefore, animation designers must study color theory and research its content, properties and relationships with the rest of the elements of composition. The artist must link between the homogeneity of colors and their association with events, and what they evoke from the feelings of the viewer. The diversity in the color contrast within the background must be consistent with the dramatic contrast within the film, and the color has physiological aspects within the background. It is best to study the colors of the characters in each scene separately so that some details of the elements and characters do not disappear with the colors of the backgrounds added to them. Each scene has its own colors and lighting.
